I remember our scout troop marching in the Memorial Day parade in my hometown.
Remember……… No meeting this week. Hopefully, a week off will help attendance. Next week our friend, George Workman will explain how our immune systems protect us and how that work is providing cancer cures.
Memorial Day….. a day to honor those who protected our way of life. I will especially remember Roger Vickers a high school buddy, Bob Hansen and Hank Cheatel all of whom died in Viet Nam. Bob was a Navy pilot who was shot down, Hank was a Marine Lieutenant and Roger was an Army Lieutenant both killed in ground fire. Three outstanding young men who lost everything. Please remember those on your personal list.
