Yesterday was the District Membership Summit with 45 clubs on hand. There were many creative ideas exchanged. Bill Downes and President P.J. participated. It was a well-received event.
Bob Z asks if any Rotarians are willing to work a shift at the Big Chili Cook-off on Sept. 11. At Buchanan Park. Home | big-chili Al Himmelman, a former Rotarian, asked us to assist.
I hope you enjoyed hearing from the EChO ED last week. I think he is a fine leader, and great addition to EChO.
I have been able to secure Jeffco Sheriff Jeff Shrader as a future speaker. I hope to figure out a couple dates to offer him and to secure commitments for attendance on those dates. It would be embarrassing to not have a packed room for such a distinguished speaker. Perhaps we can discuss at the club assembly.
