Our speaker was our guest some years ago. This time she will comment on the many changes in secondary education. Dr. Haney has been a Rotarian in the past, but her group dissolved.  Maybe she would enjoy an evening club.

You have probably noticed that our Nancy Grant has been hobbled of late. She expected to need a hip replacement, but it turned out she has a broken leg. She had successful surgery and is recovering. She is happy to have the right diagnosis and surgery and reports that she is bionic now. Please consider a card or call.

I received some very favorable comments concerning Greg Romberg’s presentation. He proved that we can talk about politics without the conversation becoming unfriendly. I asked him if we would summarize the process change by saying, “we got rid of some of the politics, but we also lost much expertise. He agreed. The process is supposed to be non-political and I’m proud of our state leading the way.

Oct. 2 is the day that Dave needs help loading a container. The group will gather at 9 AM at 16080 E. Smith Rd. at All Phase Landscape. It’s important that you e-mail Dave (cra@crutces4africa.org) so he can coordinate parking and other details…. please lend a hand on this important task to support C4A.
