JoAnn L. Vogt was a judge on the Colorado Court of Appeals. She was appointed to the court on December 31, 1997 and retired on January 13, 2009.[1]
 
Education
Judge Vogt earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Nebraska in 1965 and was a Fulbright Scholar, Universität Hamburg, Germany, 1965-66. She earned her M.A. in 1967 and Ph.D. in 1972 from the University of Chicago. She later earned her J.D. from the University of Denver College of Law, 1986.
Career
 
Judge Vogt began serving on the Colorado Court of Appeals, in 1998. Prior to this she was employed in Private Practice from 1987 - 1997, a Law Clerk to Colorado Supreme Court Chief Justice Joseph R. Quinn from 1986-87 and a College German Teacher from 1968 - 1982.[2]

The district conference was very interesting with its theme “Inspiring Youth” We were treated to some fantastic Interact students. If you have concerns about the younger generation, you would have been encouraged by these astonishingly fresh and bright youngsters. I will be inviting one great young man from Baily to visit us and speak to our club.
 
We were in the running for a growth award at the conference, but came in second. Still a good job.

June 26th. will be the Changing of the Guard meeting. We will be dark on June 22nd.  The changing of the guard will be at Hiwan including heavy hor dourves and a cash bar. It will be fun, as usual. Plan on attending.
