This week will be a club assembly.  It’s your time to ask questions, make suggestions and otherwise engage in an interchange of ideas about our club.  Among our topics will be a financial update on ice melt from Jaime and an update by Mike Lanier on our scouts.
We will also have some sliders to spice up the meeting.

Don’t forget to sign up for the area 8 meeting April 20th. here at Mount Vernon. We will be dark on the 19th. so we can attend this event in lieu of our normal meeting. The evening will feature a buffet dinner and a cash bar starting at 5:30. The featured speaker will be Jim Halderman who will discuss Rotary’s role in world peace initiatives over the years. The event will end at 9. The cost is $30 per member. Please reserve your attendance with Rose or me. It will be a nice event and we are hoping for a good representative turnout and an evening of socializing with our fellow area 8 Rotarians.

April 29th is the District Conference. Here are the choices:
Full conference $145 or $100 for first time conference goers
Sat. only………. $85 (per person (9 to 5)
It will be at the Cable Center at 2000 Buchtel At the University of Denver. Excellent speakers
