This week we will have a Club Assembly as our program. We plan to discuss some important things about our club and hope for good attendance. Please come and make your opinions known
Of course, Feb. 23rd will be the meeting at which we will welcome Laura Shepard Churchly, astronaut and national hero Alan Shepard’s daughter. She will talk about her recent trip into space aboard the Blue Origin rocket ship, the product of the Jeff Bezos space team.
She loves to discuss the feats of her “daddy” who, of course, was the second man on the moon, and the first to hit golf shots there. Laura is a charming lady and this will be a wonderful evening.
We are looking for input about last week’s social. The idea is to do this once a month to allow us to catch up on the camaraderie we lost during the long period of not meeting personally. The next one is scheduled for March 9th.
Thanks to those who signed up for ice melt selling. This week-end, we had T.J. Carney, P.J. Dyon, Rose Lyon and Judi Q all selling.
Next week we have three openings…Walmart both days and Evergreen Liquor on Sunday. Please let me know if you can fill one of these spots. Based on the whacky weather and the new placement of the barrel, my guess is that the barrel might go early…. but who knows?
