Gail Sharpe brought a tote to our October 14 meeting to collect items for the Homeless Veterans Backpack project, it will be at all the meetings untill the end of the month- there also will be opportunities to help sort and fill the backpacks, and you can bring items for the backpacks to the meeting:

Each backpack will contain:
1 small pack of wet wipes
1 small hand sanitizer
1 small body wash
1 toothpaste and brush pack
1 hand warmer
1 foot warmer
1 men’s underwear (small or medium)
1 lip balm
1 stick deodorant
1 disposable rain poncho

Concert Series
Hosted on the last Sunday of each month at the Bergen Peak Room at Buchanan Recreation Center, this is a free music performance for older adults in and around the Evergreen Community. Mary Tribby, Seniors4Wellness Board member, brings light appetizers, snacks and drinks - thank you, Mary!!
Our concert performer is Jarrett Schaub! He is the loving father of three daughters and husband to his beautiful wife. Jarrett is from the hill country of Texas and plays all kinds of music. He made his own guitar, plays professionally and you will be blown away by Jarrett’s singing
