Mount Vernon expects to be able to host us in March. We don’t have a date yet, and of course, all plans are dependent on the safety of everyone. Hopefully the vaccine will lower the pandemic cases. Some members have gotten their first shot and many are in the age range which should allow us to get the call. I am personally disappointed that the vaccine information is not readily available. Well, here is the news. We are planning a party on whatever night we return to Mount Vernon. It will be a joyous affair, so hang on….we are almost ready to win against this pandemic.
The district is working with 9 Health to see if there is a role for Rotarians in the vaccine delivery program. Nan is our representative. We’ll certainly keep you informed as the plans are developed. It would be great if Rotarians were part of the solution with this vaccine just as we have been with polio
