Mountain Foothills Rotary Club was honored to participate in a community-wide effort to collect personal care items for homeless veterans. Organized by TallGrass Salon and Spa in Evergreen, the Veterans Backpack Project provided an opportunity to support those who have given so much for our country. Thanks to the giving hearts of our members, and a very generous donation from Walmart in Evergreen, we were able to collect a record amount of supplies this year, all of which will be organized and packed next week, and then distributed to homeless veterans in need of assistance.
