This week is a club assembly. The main purpose of this discussion is to understand the result of this year’s golf tournament. This year’s version went off without a hitch operationally.
P.J. will go over the numbers which are not 100% complete but close enough to know how we did. The two keys to success are sponsors and golfers. Both were good and the principal force behind these numbers is Bill Downes. Great job again, Bill.
The 17th. of Sept. will be our next highway cleanup effort. We are part of an effort by several organization.
Good news…. We are going to do the senior dinner similar to those we used to do. It was very successful in the past under the guiding hand of Nancy Grant. More to come.
P.J. announced that we will be pursuing a third-grade dictionary program in seven schools.
We need a person to serve as the go-between for our two scout troops. This is not a hard or time-consuming position, but one with the opportunity to help to groups of youngsters.
Don't forget the Sheriff's candidates night on Sept. 21st. Plan on being there.
