Timing is everything…We will hear about bears on Wednesday. Last night at about 3:30,  I was awakened by loud voices who were chasing a bear. The bear had entered my neighbor’s house and was in the kitchen going through the refrigerator when the startled neighbors were awakened by the sounds. I don’t know how the bear got through the garage to enter the house, perhaps it had the garage door code. No one was hurt, but the bear ran away carrying a big hunk of cheese. The animal control folks who responded left a large bear trap in the driveway. They believe the animal will return seeking some wine to go with the cheese…… To be continued.

Our marketing test was disappointing in that it got us no membership leads. Our analytics show 470 folks reached with our Facebook activity with 9 link clicks (they read through the post) and the cost of the activity was just $14 as you pay for clicks.  What companies who do this all the time know is that the secret to advertising is repetition. It’s rare that an ad causes immediate response unless you are in the market for a specific product. Hopefully someone who had us and our activities brought to their attention, will remember us and suggest someone check us out. It is a numbers game. Another path to success is for members to make those recommendations.

Hope to see you all on Wed…I can’t bear to miss your smiling faces.
