Bart Corfee manages money for individuals and families to help them achieve their goals
Bart’s passion for wealth management emerged in his youth as he watched his grandfather build a dry cleaning and laundry business from scratch into a large and very successful business enterprise. This is where he spent his youth and secured his first paying job. Eventually Corfee Dry Cleaners & Laundry was passed to the next generation, his two sons. Throughout his youth Bart expected to eventually help run and become the third generation owner of the family business. That childhood dream went unfulfilled when the Family Business succumbed to economic and financial downturns. So, it is no surprise that he selected Accounting as his major with great emphasis on Finance and Economics in college, and that educational foundation led to a growing passion for the stock market and asset management.

Bart is here to honor his friend Bill Skewes. Bart was a close friend of Bill’s and inspired him as Bill battled a terminal illness. We would all hope to have a friendship as good as the one Bill and Bart shared. Come meet this long-time member.

The Ice Melt is a signature project for us and differentiates us from the other club. We have a plan to make it the most successful ever. We have added Wal Mart so we will have three instead of two places to sell tickets. It will take a bigger commitment in staffing to pull this off. It works out to be 2 selling schedules for each member. We know that there are a few whose health precludes their selling. If you are one of those members, then we would ask you to make some calls to solicit sponsors. We have a prospect list for sponsors making it as easy as picking up the phone. If you want to do this, please let Jaime know.
So, for the rest of us, let’s sign up for at least two selling dates. Here’s how it works:
  1.  You just show up at your designated location (Walmart, King Soopers, or Evergreen Liquors/SAFEWAY.
  2. At your start time, 11:AM, Jaime, Keith or I will bring you signage, a table, change and a method to take credit cards and set you up
  3. You greet the folks, and you will see that it is easy and fun
  4. At 1 PM we will come and pick up all the equipment and cash you sold
That’s it. If each sells for just 2 hours on two occasions, we will be able to write nice checks to Inspire, EChO and Dave. Rotary is about what we do, not what we say. Please step up for your fair share.
