This week our program will be presented by Dave Brewick. Dave will discuss inflation and our current economy and he’ll probably address the future of the economy. Those of us who have been treated to Dave’s economic expertise, would not miss this program. Dave, as you know, is President of Evergreen Bank so his stewardship of the bank’s assets takes someone with much expertise. Dave’s economic prowess has been developed over many years in the banking business and a master’s degree from Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management.
It's good to report that our Sheriff’s candidate night went very well with zero hitches. Keith’s marketing of the event brought in a good crowd. Chris Nims did a masterful job leading us through a minefield of questions. I must say that both candidates answered skillfully showing their expertise and mastery of the subjects discussed. They both responded with great professionalism and respect for the process and their opponent. Under the “timing is everything” title…. Ed Brady, one of the candidates, was notified during the event that he had just become a Grandpa.
The Seniors 4 Wellness Thanksgiving luncheon will be November 18th. It will be at Christ the King Church on Evergreen Parkway from 11:30 till 2. Yikes, I’m old enough to be eligible for this event.
A celebration of life will be held for Bill Skewes from 10AM to 1PM on October 22nd. at the Hiwan Golf Club in Evergreen (30671 Club House Lane).
